Inspiration - Pass it on

Any creative business, (in fact any business) needs inspiration. It may be inspiration to motivate yourself, or inspiration to re-engage your team, or perhaps inspiration to push your business through to the next level. Whatever the goal, Inspiration is the fuel that feeds the flames of progress and energises the soul.

And it can be found everywhere. It may sound passé, but I find inspiration in people who see the need for something and despite their fears, have the courage to push ahead. This is particularly poignant if that 'something is change.

It takes something special to feel the fear and do it anyway, which pretty much describes what it is like be a business owner.

Every day presents the business owner with opportunities to take their business to the next level or remain where they are.

One little known, wild white haired, theoretical physicist once said - “Insanity, is doing the same thing and expecting a different result”.

Change takes courage. And that courage inspires all those who are witness to it. Witnesses like; your staff, your suppliers and of course your clients (perhaps even yourself).

In the words of Pablo Picasso "inspiration does exist, but it must find you working".
