Do you live and breath sneakers?
This may be the colouring competition for you, with a 1st prize of $50,001, that’s $1 richer than the fabled Archibald Prize, the new sneaker art prize is being described as the world’s richest colouring competition.
Organisers are expecting it to appeal to everyone from street artists, to fine artist and even school kids. Entrants are offered 8 different shoes templates to apply their design to, including such classics as the Adidas Superstar, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and the Puma Suede.
Judging the competition has been taken on by British artist Dave White, Sneaker Freaker magazine founder Simon ‘Woody’ Wood and Australian art critic Andrew Frost. So get in touch with your creative side and have a go.
